Burundi ready for Arusha meeting

The inter-Burundian dialogue, which
starts on 21 May 2016, comprises a series of talks aimed at ending the year-long
political crisis. The sessions will be concluded next Tuesday (May 24)
at the East African Community (EAC) Headquarters.
“The May 21 to May 24 meetings in Arusha
will be staging consultations between different stakeholders with the
co-facilitator in the Burundian conflict, the former Tanzanian Head of
State, Mr Benjamin
William Mkapa.” said the Head of Corporate Communications at EAC Secretariat, Mr
Richard Owora Othieno.
